Get a 100% tax write-off on computer purchases made before February 2011
You've still got time to take advantage of the CRA depreciation benefit. If you buy any new computer hardware before February 2011 the CRA will allow you to depreciate 100% of the whole purchase in the first year.

Details taken from the CRA website:
Include in Class 52 with a CCA rate of 100% (with no half-year rule) general purpose electronic data processing equipment (commonly called computer hardware) and systems software for that equipment, including ancillary data-processing equipment, if acquired after January 27, 2009, and before February 2011. To qualify for this rate, the asset must also:
be situated in Canada;
not have been used, or acquired for use, for any purpose before it is acquired by the taxpayer; and
be acquired by the taxpayer:
- for use in a business carried on by the taxpayer in Canada or for the purposes of earning income from property situated in Canada; or
- for lease by the taxpayer to a lessee for use by the lessee in a business carried on by the lessee in Canada or for the purpose of earning income from property situated in Canada.

News for our Microsoft Solomon (SL) clients
We were recently informed by Microsoft that Divestco's Microsoft relationship including licenses, etc, cannot be transferable as PureIT hadn't purchased the entire Divestco entity. We have therefore set up a new relationship with Microsoft. As part of this process we have created a new entity for our Financial Services business which includes our Dynamics SL (Solomon) practice, as well as, the Laser Joint Venture Accounting business. The new company is named "Laser Information Systems Inc.".
Darren Magel who has been with this group since 2003 will be heading up "LIS". Please be assured that we are still the same dedicated group of people working to provide you with the great service you have come to expect.

Shave Your Lid For a Kid
Thank-you to everyone for your generous support this year!
Paul Guthrie, Josh Coles and Angel Santos raised a combined total of over $3000 for the Kids Cancer Care Foundation! We did the head shave at the Divestco office on Thursday June 24th.
